Jessie & Lyle's Wedding Day
This love story begins back in Grade 9 when Jessie & Lyle became best friends. Fast forward to 2015 when the title of “best friends” became “boyfriend & girlfriend”, then “furparents” to Marnie, and now to “Mr. & Mrs.”
October 9th, 2021. It began with popping champagne and getting ready for the big day. The venue was Wedding in the Woods on a crisp autumn day, truly a woodland fairy tale vibe. To match the aesthetic, Jessie wore the most beautiful Bridalane lace & tulle dress from His & Hers Bridal, not complete without a bedazzled jean jacket and glitter sneakers of course!
Jessie & Lyle shared their first look in the woods with the most beautiful backdrop filled with greenery, followed by portraits of the bride & groom with their bridal party. And who can’t resist a smoke bomb to get the dreamiest photos? The ceremony took place beside a breathtaking pond, surrounded by loved ones. After the couple said “I do”, all loved ones were invited to take one big family picture with the newlyweds – you can seriously feel the love radiating through these images!
During the cocktail hour, smaller family pictures were taken with Jessie & Lyle while guests were able to enjoy drinks, appetizers, and a photo booth! The reception – this is where the party really began. The bridal party wheeled in – yes, WHEELED in – the bride & groom in their own wagons sporting sunglasses and throwing money up in the air to the song “Whole Lotta Money” by BIA… YEESSSS this group knows how to make an entrance!
The rest of the night was flawless and everything you could possibly want for a wedding – tears, laughter, amazing food, speeches from loved ones, and LOTS of dancing. Guests were even able to warm up by the bonfire if the drinks & dancing didn’t do the trick! The night ended with everyone raising a glass to the beautiful Mr. & Mrs. Lauzon – a perfect end to a perfect day.
